Business Continuity Planning
When economic, financial, commercial and environmental uncertainty bites, businesses face many risks that may impact severely on their ability to trade. In particular, any disruption to the supply of goods or services can hamper your operations and often result in commercial penalties and/or impact on your ultimate customer.
Our team at NTTX is experienced in developing engineering business continuity plans, as well as supporting them through implementation during planned and unplanned disruptions.
At the core of our capabilities is the extensive experience of our staff and associates in management systems development, incident management, incident investigation, and risk management. We are also skilled in the application of British Standard 25999-1:2006, Business Continuity Management and the Business Continuity Institute's good practice guidelines.
Our approach in supporting clients develop their business continuity plans is to review their existing processes, procedures and management responsibilities with a view to making relatively small but effective changes, in keeping with the client's current management system.
We can also provide a more comprehensive service incorporating the development of processes and procedures, and the training of in-house staff to manage and maintain the plan. We can also assist in planning and simulating potential scenarios to enable staff to test both the plan and their ability to manage the developing situation and its aftermath.
