Safety Governance and Safety Leadership

NTTX has significant experience in helping businesses to understand and manage their top business risks and in providing safety governance and leadership advice. We aim to answer these questions:

  • What should be the most cost effective but robust health and safety approach that best fits the strategic direction of the business?

Our work helps businesses to comply with the spirit of the "Leading Health and Safety at Work" publication of 2007 published jointly by the Institute of Directors and the Health and Safety Commission.

We strive for work to be undertaken in a constructive and supportive manner. The basis of our success is based on a unique combination of structured discussion with key personnel, along with a review of health and safety related documentation and site visits. Typically, the review would culminate in a presentation to the client's Executive Team.

NTTX also specialises in reviewing and advising the UK rail sector to optimise their management of occupational health and safety. We are proud to have delivered what is considered to be the largest occupational health study conducted in UK rail. To achieve this we worked with 35 leading organisations, such as government bodies, health providers and unions. We took this a step further and produced a range of reports on this subject to the industry (these are published on the RSSB website), as well as a major industry conference designed to raise the profile of "good health is good business".
