Tricia has been a volunteer at Warrington’s Ryfields Retirement Village, working in the library on Saturday mornings. “I used to issue books for loan to the residents,” she says. “But actually a lot of my time was spent chatting to the residents!”
She is now a volunteer at Bressingham Steam Museum and has been trained as a guard on the Nursery Line and Waveney Line. “I’m also trained as a gallopers operator,” says Tricia. “It’s one sort of merry-go-round of which I can really take control!”
